If Netflix doesn’t pick this show up then either cw or HBOmax better maybe we can get more than 3 seasons and more than 6 episodes. 6 episodes wasn’t enough. Netflix is very slow when it comes to picking up good shows for a season 2. still waiting for Julie and the phantoms and Cursed. JATP came out in early September and Cursed came out in July. Ik it’s bc of covid but come on Netflix it’s almost a yr since Cursed came out and JATP is 2 months after Cursed. I heard that the show creator has plans for 3 seasons of the Winx.

This show is so nice . I used watch winx in my childhood. I don no why people wanted the same colorful cartoon representation . Many of the fans got upset about Musa and Terra because Musa wasnt Asian and Terra is not hispanic . But all these cast members are so great . I really hope they ll bring flora soon and tecna by next season . However I agree in one thing , fashion was not the best in season 1 but I really hope they got that message
Well yeah they're really talented and they seem lovely but you can't blame people for wanting more than one person who isn't Caucasian. Three of the girls were Caucasian before and now 5/6 of them are. There used to be four races between them and now there's only two.

@janderson947 What and there weren’t any plus sized Latinx women? The show’s concept is decent but it’s not ‘Winx’. And the ‘feminism’ in the show is there just to seem woke. If they wanted a dark academia, witchy show (which is what most teen shows are like on Netflix now) they could’ve made a different one? Winx’s visuals being colourful and bright doesn’t mean there’s no room for darker storylines - in fact it’d make a better juxtaposition between them and the villains, or by getting darker as the show goes on.
@Lal Sonat yes but I like tera and the fact that she isn't skinny shows diversity in general because not everybody is skinny either the show isn't amazing but it is good especially toward the end it started getting better there are some changes but I wouldnt expect it to be all happy because although the cartoon is life isn't so in my opinion it is decent and they are not the first show to do this won't be the last...
@janderson947 I know flora is her cousin, what I’m saying is the casting call was originally for flora. The reason they incorporated Terra into it is to compensate for the lack of diversity - and I’m not talking token POC characters. Idk who’s cute with who in the live action I couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes

I know they filmed the show in 2019 but i bet they watched it so how the hell are they getting any of these wrong. Also i bet Beatrix and Bloom are sisters. Its to much of a coincidence of them both being in aster dell at the same time and being saved by rosalind at the same time. Also they are all so funny, they seem close
