When I saw that crash I thought to myself shit he's not going to make it out of the car alive it was horrific. But when he got out oh my god he got out how did he do that?! But thank goodness he survived and I felt that F1 safety dramatically improved.

Everything is designed to break away and dissipate energy from the survival cell, the part of the car that survived, the tub, halo and roll hoop are the only parts that are designed not to fail, and they didn't! For the ones saying oh the fire only lasted 28 seconds in real life and other similar shit i gotta say yall that netflix is trying to show how long it feels to be in a accident. Like when you have a car accident it might have been only 6 seconds since you hit your car or whatever vehicle but your brain in some way makes you feel like it was longer than some seconds (ik it by personal experience)
safety car needs to better set up to deal with fire with all the gear fire suits the lot they need to have the equipment to get in there and get drivers out of the car not wait for them to come to you .we were fucking luck with this crash next time we may not be F1 get this sorted out

Oh my god, on race day it was so fucking scary, and then so unbelievably badass and incredible when he climbed his ass out of there! SO Amazing.
Netflix make it more dramatic. When you see on lives tv, not really this dramatic or intense.
The reality is that all other drivers were in sector 2 of lap 1 when Grosjean jumped out. Still felt like a very long time when it happened.
At 1:40 you can really hear how worried and sad all the other drivers are
